Mombasa is a holiday destination to many tourists as well as locals. This last weekend hotels and city dwellers from all over gathered at the Mombasa food festival which was held at The Mama Ngina Waterfront Park previously known as Mama Ngina drive.
The event saw many food vendors from every corner of the coastal counties make their presence at the park with a food stall. The event that is held annually brings out the rich Swahili culture and cuisine. The festival was a spring board to celebrate World Tourism Day.
Exhibitors proudly brought out the different Swahili cuisine and revelers indulged in delicious cuisine while they embraced the beautiful views the Indian Ocean has to offer.
